Talk to your mom - Relative Mode
Coding for kids is a learning platform that uses a game to teach programming concepts!
Billy’s favorite pet is Pip, the duck. Billy is wondering what Pip is doing. He sees his mom and he goes to his mom.
First we have to give Billy instructions to move in 1st person mode which we call Relative Mode. Sounds complicated, right? You can do it because we've made it easy for you.When you program Billy in Relative Mode then you will step into Billy and see through his eyes what he sees. When Billy moves, it's as if you are Billy. That's why it's called 1st person.
Drag the Key Condition and use the letter wDrag the move action. Click on the little triangle on the top left. This is what you will see:
Select the move up action, then click on the check box to activate Relative Mode.
All done! Now start the game and move Billy toward his mom.
